Diamond Grinding & Prep
Before a drop of epoxy goes down, the slab is mechanically ground to open the concrete pores. This is the step most operators skip — and it's why their floors peel. We never skip it.
Multi-Coat Application & Warranty Handover
5–6 coats applied over 1–2 days. Once cured, you get a written 7-year workmanship warranty — not a verbal promise, a document with Sez's name on it.
Most epoxy failures come down to one thing: skipped prep. Contractors who use acid etching instead of mechanical diamond grinding are cutting a corner that shows up 18–24 months later when the floor starts lifting. When you get competing quotes, ask each one exactly how they prepare the slab. If they can't explain their grinding process in detail, that's your answer.

If a contractor uses acid etching instead of mechanical diamond grinding, the concrete pores don't open properly and the epoxy can't bond. Most residential jobs (garage, driveway, alfresco) take 1–2 days on-site. You can walk on the floor after 24 hours, and park vehicles on it after 72 hours. We'll confirm exact curing times for your specific job and product when we quote.
Yes — the floor needs to be completely clear before we start. That means cars, shelving, and anything stored on the slab needs to be moved out. We'll remind you of this when booking and can advise on timing if you need a hand planning it.
